• Phat Ratt is an event based company operating on a part time , weekend, basis and therefore not have any employees.
• instead we have a pool of contract employees who work and report income independently.

Photographers will need:

• to be:   a motorcycle rider past or current., someone who likes to take photos 
• Behavior : 
• we know the biker life all too well ourselves and don't want to get in the way of you having fun as always at events.  go for it, it's your life.
• However this is a real business, your business and you will be "working" during these events for your self so keep yourself in check.
• exactly how to define this is hard a good reality check is if your not walking around talking to everyone, taking photos, making sales, creating leads for more gigs your not working and your mot making money for your self.
• Transportation:  reliable,  legal and current license, ( no bike is ok if you have a good reason for it )
• Basic knowledge of :  the city where you live, The Biker lifestyle, PC, Windows, Internet, Photography knowledge or dregrees not necessary.
• Equipment:  Home PC,  Lap top and Printer is optional
• Photographers need: a DSLR camera, stock lens, external speed flash,  nothing else for accessories required 
• Time :   to learn our propritory way of photographing biker events.  to shoot several local events per month on summer weekends, 
• Offices in new cities have minimum coverage requirements to meet and may be asked to send representatives to major National rallies to help cover those events as well. 
• to buy :  a Start up package from us consisting of Company branding items,  Training materials ,  road signs and brackets ,  photo display hangers, Software packages.
• To agree: to not disclose or share any info contained in training documents by signing a non-disclosure agreement before accepting training materials

• Your photography business
• you can make as much or as little out of it as you want to need to.  
• we are here to help you succeed in every way we can for as long as you part of our network of independent photographers or franchise owner / operators.  
• you can start off doing a few gigs the first year and then push hard for a few years to build enough income to make a living taking photos on the weekends and collecting fees from other photographers you hired and trained for your area.
• or you can simply choose to travel to rallies on your bike, sit on the side of the road with road signs and your camera taking photos a few hours a day during the rally, upload them and collect the income from internet sales only without ever saying a word to anyone at the event or manning a booth doing sales.
• what ever trips your shutter is fine with us..... for a limited time though.

• because this is a ground floor opourtunity and we need to kick start it in 2009 we will allow  the first few who join us define the details of how they want to work.  
• but once things get going we will be forced to standardize the roles,  responsibilites, expectations, fees and schedules that all new photogrphaers adn franchise owners will have to meet. 
• So you have it, for a limited time and numer of people, the red carpet is out allowing you to decide how many and what kind of gigs you want to shoot in your home town as part of the phat ratt network.

• Franchise owners will need:
• To own your own Franchise office and teritory
• pay the initial fees 
• Laptop and Photo Printer.,  Event Booth and supplies
• several trained Assistants and Photographers
• train the trainer materials, larger start up package and set of Road signs from us

• A stuffed shirt unemployed, film photography degreed photographer who has yet to convert to digital cameras, knows nothing about the biker life style. Ya, try to jump in a poker run, take photos and try to sell them. They will know your just an outsider looking to make a buck off them and eat you alive. 
• We also discourage people looking to make a living doing this early on or with out any effort, people wanting to get laid as their first choice of activities, drunks or drug addicts, people who cant control themselves in public, around X's or people they don't like, lyars or dishonest people.

• We know the biker life style and therefor developed a strict code of conduct that all people representing the Phat Ratt photogrpahy name will follow while on the clock to insure a high level of professionalism is maintained while still allowing normal social behavior once clocked out.
• once all equipment and money is safely put away you are considered off the clock and free to do what you want provided you do not talk shop to anyone from that point forward that day. 
• one complaint from one person or bar owner and that person is gone for good.

• All contract, commission only, you get to keep the lion's share of what you earn. 
• due to so many unknown and uncontrollable factors we make no promises or guarantees of any minimum amount of earnings form any gigs. 

• Each person representing Phat Ratt in the field will be required to sign a non-disclosure and non-compete agreement prior to being sent on a gig or allowed access to internal information or web sites.
• each person representing Phat Ratt photo is an independent contractor and responsible for their selves. this includes taxes, behavior, transportation, camera equipment, reputation, beatings, bail money, and lawyer fees.
• you know more details coming as soon as legal is done with it and others find new ways to be stupid.
